Being true to yourself is a prerequisite for experiencing fulfillment.
In fact, many of the blessings we seek in life are delayed simply because we aren’t true to ourselves. Most of us spend so much time and energy chasing after blessings when in reality, the universe is constantly trying to send us everything we could ever want and more. We simply need to allow for it to happen, and one of the ways we make that allowance is by standing in our own place of truth.
Unfortunately, being true to ourselves is becoming more and more of a lost art in a society that encourages conforming to the norm or following the latest trends. Add to this our intrinsic human need for approval and it sometimes seems impossible for us to simply “be,” and feel that it’s enough. As a result, each time we pretend to be something we are not, we distance ourselves from the blessings that are meant just for us.
Think about it. If your soul mate happened to be in the same room, how would they recognize you if you were anything other than your true self? How could you experience authentic friendships; the kinship and love of those who want to be with you for who you really are?
Blessings find those who are true to themselves.
Stand in your truth. The fulfillment that is your birth right will find you there.
